No matter how much money you make, you've got to pay your taxes, people!Wesley Snipes and Ronald Isley can tell you from experience.
Earlier this month, rapper Flo Rida was hit with a $1.2 million tax lien lawsuit by the IRS, stemming from 2009 to 2011.
According to the federal lien, filed on January 2nd, the Miami-native, whose real name is Tramar Lacel Dillard, didn't pay income taxes for three consecutive years owing a total of a whopping $1,197,655,44.
RadarOnline reports: The 34-year-old music-maker didn't pay taxes in 2009 after earning ($343,317.03), 2010 ($10,245.41) and 2011 ($844,093.00). I guess he didn't learn from his first tax lien!
Back in 2009, the rapper told GossipExtra about his tax issues:
"The accountants are checking into it. We know there were some issues with the year 2009, international expenses and the likes. Whatever Flo owes, he will pay. But I'm confident it's not $1 million!"
