The most elaborate nuptials in 2013 has to go to Napster and Facebook mastermind/co-founder, Sean Parker. He and his bride, Alexandra Lenas, spent a reported $9 million transforming The Ventana Inn in Big Sur, Calif., into a fairytale dreamscape full of flowers, elaborate backdrops, cottages and some of Silicon Valley's most powerful people. The couple, who tied the knot in front of 300 family and friends, had the bride in an Elie Saab gown while the groom, Parker, 33, the couple's infant daughter Winter Victoria and the guests were dressed by Academy Award-winning costume designer Ngila Dickson-The designer from The Lord of the Rings film trilogy.
The event was rumored to be one of Silicon Valley's most expensive weddings! The bill for flowers and plants alone was reportedly up to $1 million. Parker and the singer/songwriter Lenas were engaged for two years.
Parker is the co-founder of Napster and founding president of Facebook, and Lenas is a New York-based singer and songwriter.
