Simon Cowell is back in the U.K. after spending the past week in St. Barts with his pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman. The pair were last seen out shopping at a pharmacy on Thursday (January 9, 2013). Cameras followed them as they walked back to their private yacht.
The X Factor judge tweeted the next day, “My new year resolutions. Advise not lecture. Listen more than you talk. Happiness is more fun than anger. Forgive and not fester.”
He also said, “Always be kind to kids and animals. Your mum is mostly right. And never dread Mondays. And most people younger than you know more than you.”
According to The Daily Mirror – Cowell did not propose while on vacation.
A friend said, “Simon and Lauren have no plans to marry at the moment. They are just concentrating on the safe arrival of their unborn child for the foreseeable future. For now, children are the priority. Lauren is due to spend lots of quality time with her son Adam in the next few weeks – as she prepares for the birth of her and Simon’s child.
“Simon, meanwhile, is totally focused on becoming a dad for the first time.”
The couple are preparing for the February arrival of their baby boy by renting an apartment in Manhattan.
