The controversial singer says she has no idea what all the fuss is about her shows and claims they help her young fans
Twerking pop star Miley Cyrus has defended her raunchy stage shows – insisting her young fans should be aware of sex.
The Wrecking Ball singer was criticised for x-rated performances including her infamous grind against Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Music Awards.
But Miley, 21, claimed her shows can be educational for young girls, reports the Sunday People
She said: “What’s crazy to me, is that sexuality is still too offensive.
“Kids need to know about sexuality. Girls need to be comfortable in that.”
The former Disney star said she remains a humble Southern girl, despite becoming one of the best known faces in pop.
She said: “When people think of twerking, the first thing they think of is me.
“And I’m just this little girl from Nashville who put up a funny video of me in a onesie dancing. Then people take it crazy.”
