Dean, a tree expert from Louisa, Kentucky, came across the tiny fawn on
one of his job sites and picked it up to move it away from harm.
But after giving it a friendly pet, the animal was instantly attached and refused to be put down.

As
soon as he has it back in his arms, stroking its stomach, the deer
returns to its trance-like state with its limbs limp and head
rolled back.
'It does not want to go,' Mr Dean's friend says as he stands filming the wildlife encounter.
Eventually, the creature was reluctantly persuaded to go back to its mother who stood watching nearby.
