Borussia Dortmund beat Bayern Munich 2-0 to win this season's German Super Cup with goals from Mhkitaryan and Aubamayang.
Bayern had the first chance of the game when Shaqiri fired in a good effort which Langerak saved well. Immediately afterwards, Dortmund seized control of the game and had the better chances throughout the first half.
An inspired Papadoupoulos kept Lewandowski at bay, which significantly blunted Bayern's attack.
Further up the pitch, Hoffmann's movement, Mhkitaryan's vision and Aubameyang's speed slowly but surely broke through Bayern's defence to create some clear chances.
Dortmund broke the deadlock in the 23rd minute when Mhkitaryan fired home from inside the box, taking advantage of Alaba's poor attempt to clear after stealing the ball from Aubameyang.
Soon after the opening goal, Javi MartÃnez clashed with Schmelzer and was stretchered off injured, which increased Bayern's defensive problems.
After the break, Dortmund continued to dominate and their second goal came in the 62nd minute when Aubameyang headed home from Piszczek's cross.
