The much publicized stint between brymo and his
former record label, Chocolate city will advance
into the new year as a court has adjourned the
case to January 2014. It was revealed that the legal battle between music
Chocolate City Limited and Ashimi ‘Brymo’ Olawale failed to come
up on Thursday, December 5, 2013, as the
presiding judge, Justice Bubba of the Federal High
Court, Lagos Judicial Division in Ikoyi didn’t sit. Thus, the case has been adjourned till 14, January
2014.It was gathered that the record label
represented at the court by Miss C.O Madubuko
from L & A Legal Consultants are yet to serve
Brymo the court papers. Thus, it wasn’t strange
that Brymo was not represented at the court. The legal battle which began on Monday,
November 11, 2013, presided over by Justice
Bubba was adjourned after Chocolate City’s lawyer,
Miss C.O Madubuko appeared before the court
without serving the defendant, Brymo, the court
papers.
