Singer Maxwell showed off his sexy beach body over the weekend as he jumped in and out of the ocean before linking up with a female friend.
Even though we are all still waiting on a new record since he hasn’t given us any goods since BLACKsummers’night in 2009, he revealed that he’s taken his time during a recent interview:
“You can rush to fail, or you can take your time to succeed. I’m having such a great time living and giving back with what I’ve been given.[...]People do have this high expectation, and with all the songs that have been released throughout my career, you can’t let them down. It’s hard for me to have to work against trying to be better than the last thing. You just want to be able to feel like you’re progressing in your work, that you’re not just being formulaic and giving people what they expect. You want to give them something that’s going to surprise them, and keep them, hopefully, respecting you.[...]You can’t be just beneath the last thing you did. You have to push bigger and deeper.”
