Just when you thought Chris Brown was on his way to being a bad boy gone good, things have taken a turn for the worse! Today, he was thrown in jail.
According to reports, he was picked up by the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department earlier today after he was kicked out of anger management rehab for the second time. It’s unclear of what exactly he did but it did not involve violence or drugs this time around. It has been said that he had an inappropriate relationship with a female employee at the facility earlier this month (which could be the reason for his breakup with Karrueche) however, that is not why he was thrown out today.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed his arrest and released the following statement:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were made aware of a warrant for the arrest of Suspect Chris Brown on Friday, March 14, 2014.
At about 2:00PM, Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s deputies arrested Suspect Brown for the warrant at a location he was staying at in the city of Malibu. Mr. Brown was cooperative when taken into custody. He is being held without bail at the Inmate Reception Center of the Los Angeles County jail in downtown Los Angeles.
The warrant was issued related to assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats crimes which occurred on February 7, 2009, in the City of Los Angeles. The incidents were investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department and prosecuted by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. The warrant was issued for a probation violation related to his conviction.
No bail! That can’t be good.
[Sidebar: The Rihanna incident actually happened on February 8, 2009. Maybe their dates are mixed up?]
This isn’t the first time Chris has been booted from the rehab center. Last year he was kicked out of a facility after he threw a rock through his mom’s car window.
Earlier this month, he was released from the facility and seemed to be doing well as he shot a video for his single “Loyal,” prepared another single with Ariana Grande, and started gearing up to release his new album, X. Unfortunately, when he attended a progress hearing, the judge felt as though he should go back to anger management, and spend more time there until his court date for the D.C. assault charges, which brings us to the incident today.
Poor Chris! It seems as though he’s gotten so many chances to straighten up but he just keeps on getting in trouble!
