His wife Victoria was no doubt busy beavering away on her fashion line and boutique, while his sons would have been at school.
So on Monday David Beckham got the chance to spend some quality time with his only daughter Harper.
The former footballer was seen carrying the gorgeous tot in his arms as they ran errands around Notting Hill in the sunshine.

Harper looked as lovely as ever dressed in a floral shift dress and she
revealed just how much her hair, which was blonder than ever, has grown
in recent months.
David,
39, meanwhile opted for a more daring fashion statement – double denim
with a rust coloured flat cap and bright red trainers.
The
handsome star has been making the most of London, where the family are
currently residing while Victoria works on her first boutique in the
city.
