Jennifer Lopez Has Decided To Perform At World Cup After Intense Backlash For Dropping Out

On Sunday Jennifer Lopez dropped out of performing at the FIFA World Cup opening ceremoney in Brazil.
But the backlash has been so intense, the 44-year-old singer has decided to step up and do the gig, a Tuesday report from RadarOnline claims.
The Dance Again singer is thought to have needed a break after her split from 27-year-old choreographer Casper Smart, which was announced Friday. But the site maintains that is not why the beauty canceled her appearance: instead, she was haggling over money with the World Cup organizers and wanted her entire entourage flown in style to Brazil.

'The backlash was so significant that she decided that she needed to attend,' a source inside the World Cup organizing committee told Radar.
Jennifer's rep did not return calls to MailOnline.
The big issue was over travel expenses. 'She had wanted them to cover everything for her, from private transportation, to her hotel and the costs associated for her entire entourage,' said the source.
Working her famous derriere off: Lopez performed on Jimmy Fallon's show on Monday night to promote her 10th studio album, A.K.A., set for release on June 17

The On The Six singer dropped out when the committee didn't cough up the money. But because she has an album to promote - A.K.A. drops June 17 - her record label told her to make it happen.
Lopez is expected to sing the official song for World Cup, which she made with Pitbull.
'It’s the world stage…It would have been foolish for her not to exploit the World Cup for the publicity factor alone,' added the insider.
