[Football Transfer] 'Luis Suárez can train and be transferred'- Fifa

Luis Suárez is allowed to continue training and can be transferred to another club, the FIFA Disciplinary Committee has confirmed, after slapping him with a nine-game ban and suspending him from football for four months for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini.
"Those rights of the player cannot be limited, because that would be a disproportionate measure," the chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, the Italian Claudio Sulser, said at the Maracanã.

Sulser, who was taking part in an antiracism campaign, assured that he was the one who pushed for disciplinary proceedings to be opened and that the reason for making such a quick decision was because it was "urgent", given that Uruguay were playing a day later against Colombia.
The chairman of the Disciplinary Committee assured that the Luis Suárez case "remains open, because there has been an appeal" and therefore he cannot discuss it.
The Brazilian Cafu and the Trinidadian Dwight Yorke, former players who also appeared at the press conference, expressed their agreement with Suárez's ban. "It is something that should not happen on the field of play and has to be punished," said Cafu, whilst Yorke assured that "a ban was needed".
"I'm sure the Disciplinary Committee studied the situation carefully to apply a suitable punishment. As a player, you don't like being bitten, spat at or punched. It is important for people to behave in the right way on the pitch and the sanctions have to transmit that message," said the former Manchester United striker.
