Real Madrid want Cristiano Ronaldo to become their out-and-out No 9 at the Bernabeu.
The
La Liga club want to change the former Manchester United star's role
and manager Carlo Ancelotti has already started doing so this season.
Spanish newspaper Marca declared
'Madrid have a plan' when it comes to Ronaldo and the 29-year-old,
currently on 264 goals in 254 appearances, will only add to his tally
from the new position.
Ronaldo,
trademarked by his CR7 tagline, could welcome the switch if it means he
can hunt down Raul's 323-goal record for Real sooner rather than
later.
