Maroon 5's new video Animals branded 'dangerous' by the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network

Maroon 5 has some explaining to do according to groups who support female victims of violence.
The new video by the band - fronted by Adam Levine - has not only been criticised for being distasteful but has also been branded as downright dangerous for depicting the rocker stalking his wife.
Released this week, the clip for single Animals sees the 35-year-old act out a creepy stalker plot against his wife Behati Prinsloo. #WATCH video below:

Glamourising violence: The Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network said, 'Maroon 5’s video for Animals is a dangerous depiction of a stalker’s fantasy'
The Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network (RAINN) said that the video - which also sees the pair have sex while covered in blood during a fantasy sequence - is not just disturbing.
In a statement provided to the MailOnline, RAINN's VP of Communications, Katherine Hull Fliflet said: 'Maroon 5’s video for Animals is a dangerous depiction of a stalker’s fantasy - and no one should ever confuse the criminal act of stalking with romance.
'The trivialization of these serious crimes, like stalking, should have no place in the entertainment industry.'
