T.I. seems to be the man to call when you want to end a feud as of late… and he’s finally speaking out about ending the nasty spat between Iggy Azalea and Snoop Dogg.
Last week, Snoop went into cyber bullying mode and taunted Iggy with 20 demeaning Instagram posts, calling her all kinds of b-tches and c-nts all because she got offended over a meme graphic that he posted. Before things got completely out of hand, T.I.gave Snoop a call, and the next day Snoop posted a public apology on Instagram to Iggy.
T.I. visited the Breakfast Club Morning Show, and he revealed that contrary to popular belief, he didn’t make or demand Snoop to publicly apologize to Iggy. Tip says he only stepped in and called the legendary rapper because the feud had gone from being between two people to being a public spectacle. Even CNN was covering it so you know it was pretty huge.
He revealed:
One thing that I know that maybe she didn’t is that Snoop don’t mean no harm. I just wish I would’ve been able to speak to him before she replied.
People was like, ‘Tip just bossed up!’ I didn’t boss up on nobody. Not Snoop! That’s the homie. I respect him, admire him and salute him. I don’t have nothing but love [for him.] Our children play together, know each other, and we got history personally and professionally. There is not a time or a set of circumstances that would allow me to call him and say, ‘What’s up with this?!’I was just like, ‘Big homie, what up man? I’m in a crossfire right here man. It’s kind of hot here.’ Immediately, I didn’t even get to say that much. Immediately big dog was like, ‘You know what, I know what you’re calling for, I know what it’s about. Based on our relationship alone, it’s over with, say no more. It’s over with. It’s dead. Ain’t nothing else to talk about. It’s a dead issue and it won’t happen again.’
