Atletico Madrid signing Fernando Torres was paraded in front of a bumper
crowd at the Vicente Calderon on Sunday as fans welcomed their prodigal
son home.
The
striker, 30, has been brought in by the La Liga champions on an initial
six-month loan deal after unsuccessful spells with Chelsea and AC
Milan.
And
despite scoring once in 14 games in Italy, over 40,000 supporters were
delighted to catch a glimpse of the Spaniard who returns to Atletico
after more than seven years away from his boyhood club.
