We were over the moon to hear about Justin Bieber’s recent do-gooding in Australia. But it looks like the 19-year-old can’t behave himself for long, as reports have surfaced that the Canadian teen has been detained in Australia by customs officials after one of his entourage was caught carrying drugs. Bieber – back to the naughty step you go.
Justin Bieber and his entourage were reportedly stopped in Brisbane by custom officials, where it was discovered that one of his party was carrying weed.
The person carrying the drugs has been ordered to appear in court following the drugs bust, while the naughty 19-year-old singer has allegedly been reprimanded after swearing at the officers.
According to TMZ.com, the Confident singer reportedly used “inappropriate language” at a female customs officer at Brisbane International Airport, which is where the whole thing kicked off.
A spokeswoman for the Australian Federal Police confirmed the arrests and verified that Justin and his mates were in fact stopped within minutes of landing at the airport.
The Baby singer only received a verbal warning, but was supposedly threatened with arrest after becoming belligerent and refusing to remove his hat and sunglasses during the inspection.While the 23-year-old US national caught with marijuana is in much deeper trouble with the authorities.This isn’t the first (or second, or even third!) time Justin’s worldwide Believe tour has been hit with controversy.
Before he travelled Down Under, the singer was in South America, where he was cautioned for spraying graffiti on the side of a hotel.He was supposedly ‘caught’ coming out of a brothel in Brazil, he shared an Instagram snap that looked like he was spitting on his fans and he was caught on camera sleeping by someone who claims she spent the night with the chart-topping superstar.Justin’s bodyguard was also arrested last month after allegedly attacked a pap on a beach in Hawaii and another had an altercation with a photographer in Sydney that was captured on film.
