This week, Bruno Mars was a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Ellen decided to have a little fun by getting Bruno to prank an unsuspecting nurse. Before the nurse entered Bruno’s dressing room, Ellen told the audience:
So Bruno Mars is in his dressing room right now waiting for a nurse that we have. We have hidden cameras in his dressing room, he has an ear piece and he has to say whatever I tell him to say. Bruno when she comes in, first thing, say ‘Thanks for coming and do you mind taking off your shoes?’
The funny thing about the clip, which kept getting funnier and funnier as time went on, is that Bruno never knew what he was going to have to say next. Ellen had him looking straight looney, when he had to tell the nurse he hasn’t swallowed since the Super Bowl, and when she had him making different sounds like, “Ka-Caw” like a bird. He also had to start crying suddenly, and then break out of it and tell the nurse that he was completely fine.
The nurse was so empathetic! Ha!
