It was a celebration of Black Excellence at the 2014 NAACP Image Awards last night in Los Angeles and some of our favorite black actors and actresses did not disappoint as they arrived to the Pasadena Civic Auditorium!
Fierce chicks Lupita Nyong’o, Kerry Washington, Brandy Norwood, and Tika Sumpter, brought style and class to the red carpet while the fellas, Michael B. Jordan, Idris Elba, and Michael Ealy all donned their best suits and paired them with their winning smiles!

Regina King shined in a black Michael Costello cut out dress, while Naomie Harris looked stunning in a gold Valentino number. Tatyana Ali, meanwhile, wore a silver and black dress while giving us a little boob tease.
She also ran into Forest Whitaker who had a few kind words to say. Last night was her night as she took home yet another award for Best Actress for her role in “12 Years A Slave.”
Tika Sumpter channeled old Hollywood glamour in a Johanna Johnson gown. Just flawless!
She also posed with Brandy Norwood who rocked a Jean Fares Couture gown. Yassss ladies!
Nia Long brought a splash of color to the carpet in a Nicole Miller dress while posing with handsome actor Idris Elba.
Michael B. Jordan wore black on black as he walked the red carpet with his favorite lady and mother Donna. His stock in Hollywood has definitely risen since playing Oscar Grant in “Fruitvale Station,” and he is now set to play the Human Torch in the “Fantastic 4″ reboot.
Terrence Howard and his new wife Mira looked super cute and relaxed. Maybe fourth time is the charm?
Morris Chestnut graced the carpet with his wife Pam.
Auntie Oprah looked amazing in orange (one of her fav colors to wear) as she arrived with her best friend, Gayle King.
