Swizz Beatz, Waka Flocka & Tyrese Speak Out In Support Of #FreePalestine

There is still no peace in the Middle East as Israel and Palestine continue their ongoing conflict that’s officially in its 67th year.
For almost a week now, Israel has been causing devastation and destruction  in Palestine by bombing the Gaza Strip with air strikes that have reportedly killed over 170 people. The strikes have also injured over 1,000 Palestinians, many of them women and children.
According to the the Gaza-based Palestinian Center for Human Rights, among those killed were 35 children and 26 women, while 350 children and 460 women have been injured so far.
Israel’s death toll remains at zero.

The Israeli airstrikes have forced millions from around the world to take action, both online and off. Protests are being held in major cities within the US, including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and Philadelphia. While on the international front, protesters in England, Norway, Puerto Rico, Canada, The Netherlands, Australia, Mexico, Spain and elsewhere have been marching in support of the #FreePalestine movement.
While there are a lot of Americans, especially celebs who are keeping quiet, rappers Waka Flocka, French Montana and producer Swizz Beatz publicly lent their support to the #FreePalestine campaign.
Swizz Beatz: #freepalestine I don’t care what’s the problem you don’t just kill lil kids like that I pray for peace ASAP!!!!

French Montana: Free Palestine !!

Basketball player Dwight Howard tweeted out his support by using the #freepalestine hashtag, but then deleted it 15 minutes later because he doesn’t comment on politics.
previous tweet was a mistake. I have never commented on international politics and never will.
I apologize if I offended anyone with my previous tweet, it was a mistake!

It looks as though this was also the case for Tyrese Gibson who allegedly posted on Facebook:
While the world is enjoying the World Cup, this is what’s going on in Gaza. Prayers for peace in our world.
This is unacceptable, there is a war going on in Palestine. Innocent children and families are being bombed and killed. I’m not into politics, I’m not into feuds, I’m about the PEOPLE….I hope this post sheds light on what’s REALLY going on. THIS POST IS TO IGNITE PRAYER AND ACTION FOR WORLD PEACE.

The posts have since been deleted.
It seems as though a lot of celebs and influencers have chosen to keep quiet in fear of backlash for support of Palestine (especially since the U.S. government provides financial and military support to Israel), as well as being completely in the dark when it comes to what’s going on in other parts of the world.
There are two websites you can reference for more information:
