And on Saturday Lady Gaga appeared to pay homage to her late hero Amy Winehouse in a sultry bedroom Instagram snap.
The
28-year-old pop star is the spitting image of the British soul singer
as she wears dark eye-liner, huge eyelashes and a black wig, mimicking
Winehouse's signature look.
Reclining in bed, Gaga flashes a bit of cleavage in a lacy bra as she snaps the selfie with her head resting on a pillow.
The LittleMonsters singer also brandishes an apparent septum piercing as she stares intently at the camera.
She captioned the snap: 'Off to Australia. Will be dreaming of my Aussie Monsters'.
Tragic: Amy was found dead at her Camden home in
the early hours of July 23 2011, with a postmortem examination later
revealing the tragic star had died as a result of alcohol intoxication
But it didn't take long for her online fans to comment on the striking resemblance the photo had to Winehouse.
One Instagram follower wrote: 'U look like ms winehouse in this pic'.
While another Gaga acolyte commented: 'I looked at this and legit thought it was Amy Winehouse'.
The star also posted images of herself in leather and black make-up on Sunday
