Transformation: Lewis Hamilton uploaded a picture of himself sporting a fake beard

It has come to public knowledge across the world that bearded men are better.

Giving into to that notion, Lewis Hamilton found a quick fix to sort his lack of facial hair as shot a new campaign for IWC Watches on Thursday.

Taking to Twitter to show off the results, the 29-year-old F1 driver was almost unrecognisable as he sported a pretty impressive fake beard.

 

With his hands in his pockets, dressed in a white T-shirt and fitted cap by Mercedes Benz, Hamilton looked like a completely different man.

Giving a bit of background to the additional hair on his face, the caption which accompanied the photo read: 'Just got back from filming with @iwcwatches and had to grow a beard! #fakebeard'.
