Sergio Ramos didn't want to comment too much on recent declarations made by Cristiano Ronaldo, who assured that if he were Real Madrid's president, he would have done things differently this pre-season in terms of signings. However, the captain did point out that everyone must follow the rules of the club.
"We may all have our own opinion and that's fine; I'm not going to start judging Cristiano's words or any player's. We belong to a club and we must abide by the rules of that club. My opinion I keep to myself, now is not the time to reach conclusions", the captain said on his arrival to the Spain squad's training facilities just outside Madrid.
Sergio Ramos arrived with Iker Casillas and joked when asked what the two had talked about on their journey from their nearby home in Pozuelo's La Finca to the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas. "Oh, we had a right old natter", he said, laughing. "Iker and I have been friends for many years now, speaking quite naturally between each other."
Finally, the Spaniard heaped praise on Real Madrid's new signing, Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández: "He's an internationally renowned player, recognized in the footballing world and can play an important role in our team. Everything that adds to the side is positive", he said.
