Riot police
were ordered into position in front of Galatasaray after flares were
hurled on to the pitch in the first half of Wednesday night's Champions
League tie against Arsenal.
Several
flares were thrown on to the Emirates Stadium turf after defender
Felipe Melo had performed a two-footed tackle on Alexis Sanchez in the
36th minute.
Arsenal led 2-0 at the time following two goals from Danny Welbeck.
