Busta Rhymes suffered a head injury during a recent performance in New York.
The
rapper, whose real name is Trevor Tahiem Smith, Jr., fell off the stage
and was left with a head wound during a concert in New York's Webster
Hall early Friday morning.
The
legendary hit maker made a surprise appearance at O.T. Genasis's show
and slipped off the platform and into the crowd while he was leaning
into the pit.
Following the fall, he rushed backstage to get his wound treated and never returned to the stage, according to TMZ.
Later
in the day, he went on Twitter to confirm that the injury, while
