Alexander Imich, a Polish-born psychic researcher who fled
with his wife after the Nazis invaded in 1939, died at a senior residence. The
world’s oldest man was certified just two months ago as the world’s oldest
supercentenarian.
Imich spoke about a month ago to NBC, joking that he didn’t
understand why he was still around.
"I don't know, I simply didn't die earlier," he
said. "I have no idea how this happened."
