Newlywed rapper Kanye West has
been spending his community service sentence teaching at fashion schools across
California.
The Stronger hitmaker was ordered to complete 250 hours
of community service in March as part of his punishment for a misdemeanor
battery charge relating to a clash with paparazzo Daniel Ramos at Los Angeles
International Airport last summer.
He has since found a way to serve his time and indulge
in his love of design by working with students at various colleges, where he
has been taking part in class lessons to share his own experiences in the
fashion world.
West was photographed at the Los Angeles Trade
Technical College on Monday in what TMZ.com editors report was his third visit
in the past six weeks.
The hip-hop star, who pleaded no contest to the battery
charge, was also sentenced to attend anger management classes and serve two
years’ informal probation.
He still faces a civil suit from Ramos, amid
allegations West punched him in an unprovoked attack.
