English professional boxer Carl Froch proposed to his
girlfriend in the ring at Wembley Stadium, just moments after beating rival
George Groves in one of the most hotly anticipated bouts in British boxing
history.
The Cobra got down on one knee in front of thousands of fans
after winning the bout, in which he dramatically knocked Groves out with a
hammer of a right hook in the eight rounds.
Froch and stunning Rachael Cordingley have two kids together:
Rocco, three, and Natalia, who has just turned one.
The 'proposal' appears to have been a misfire however,
because in his post-match interview with Sky, Froch said it wasn't for real.
He was reportedly unable to propose properly because he
had not sorted out a ring in time.
Bet Rachael was pleased!
